This yarn evokes memories of early spring and the soft heathered green fields of wild grass that can be found in the landscape of the Lothian district outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. Worked in a loose fit, this anklet or longer sock is a quick summer knit and ideal for lazy evenings and/or crisp, cool fall mornings.

Inspired by the previous owner of HK Handknits on Bruntsfield Links, Bruntsfield is an easy knit that was inspired by the many shades of blues found in the lochs, sky and dusk that I encountered throughout Scotland and knit with Jamieson’s Heather Aran.
