A lovely afternoon
Saturday, March 19th, 2011Several weeks ago I managed to slip away from the office to spend a lovely lunch date with two wonderful women, Syvia Harding and Leila Wice, and the newest addition to our knitting scene here in Portland, Oregon. Ms Sophie.
After a quick bite at a local, very loud, Indian restaurant we headed to Happy Knits for a brief respite of knitting and to pick up some supplies. While knitting, I looked up to see this wonderful conversation between Syvia and Ms Sophie happening.
I imagine the conversation went something along the lines of…
Ms Syvia, Ms Syvia…
Can I tell you about an idea I have?
It would have lots of color, pretty stitches, and maybe some beads…
I could snuggle up in it…
I’d even share it with Mom.
And it could be THIS big!
